“This is it Folks!”

In Harlem in the 1970s, a prison break frames the Uncle Remus tales, told by Pappy (Scatman Crothers) in live action and then drawn as Brother Rabbit (Philip Michael Thomas), Brother Bear (Barry White) and Preacher Fox (Charles Gordone) climb the city's crime ranks. Ralph Bakshi sends them up against a con man, a racist cop and the Mafia. Rabbit, Bear and Fox have only each other to count on.
