Lionel Q. Deveraux (Groucho Marx), a talent agent, sells the same woman to a nightclub twice, once as Carmen Novarro and once as the veiled Mlle. Fifi (Carmen Miranda). Alfred E. Green keeps the costume changes coming as Carmen switches between the two acts, with Steve Hunt (Steve Cochran) and other men falling for different performers. Under all the feathers and fast talk, the question is how long one person can be two people before she wants to be only herself.
