Norma Besant (Mary Pickford) is a Southern belle who wants every young man in town to notice her, and most of them do. Her flirtation with Michael Jeffery (Johnny Mack Brown), a working man her father, Dr. John M. Besant (John St. Polis), does not approve of, sets the family against her. Sam Taylor made this in 1929, and it is about how little a girl's games can weigh against a father's pride.
