Cornered

Laurence Gerard (Dick Powell) leaves the war behind and goes after the Nazi collaborators who killed his wife. His search leads him to Melchior Incza (Walter Slezak) and a circle of people who each seem to be hiding their part in her death. Dmytryk keeps Gerard moving from one tight, suspicious conversation to the next, a man with a single purpose and no one he can trust.
