Corpo Celeste

Marta (Yile Yara Vianello), thirteen, moves from Switzerland to a city in southern Italy and signs up for catechism class at the local church. The games and pop songs there leave her questions about faith unanswered, so she presses against the class and the priest, Don Mario (Salvatore Cantalupo). Alice Rohrwacher follows how Marta, new to a place that isn't quite hers, looks to the adults around her for an answer and mostly gets routine.
