Hagen (Moritz Bleibtreu) sleeps in broken stretches and can no longer tell which part of his life he dreamed. His frustrated wife, Karoline (Nadja Uhl), begins an affair with Niko (Jannis Niewöhner), a small-time criminal. Bleibtreu directs and stars, and everything that follows rests on a man who cannot trust his own memory of what he did.
