Could One Imagine?

(1981)Directed by Ilya Frez90 minDrama, Romance

In a Soviet high school classroom in 1981, Katya Shevchenko (Tatyana Aksyuta) and Roman Lavochkin (Nikita Mikhajlovsky) meet and fall hard for each other. Ilya Frez follows them as an old history between his father and her mother makes both uneasy. Only their literature teacher helps, though she has her own troubles in love, and the first love of the young is shown as a feeling the adults around them can't leave alone.
