(1971)Directed by Peter Sasdy93 min · PGDrama, Horror
“Here lies the body of…”

In seventeenth-century Hungary, Countess Elisabeth (Ingrid Pitt) is widowed and old, with her husband's estate in her hands and the Báthory name behind her. Then she finds a way to become young again, and Peter Sasdy lets her use it on a household of servants, a lover and a daughter, Ilona (Lesley-Anne Down). Each new youth costs someone close to her, and Captain Dobi (Nigel Green) is already watching.
