Messenger Boy

Ivan (Fyodor Dunayevsky) carries envelopes for a Moscow newspaper, lives with his divorced mother, and has two years of military service waiting for him. Delivering a package, he meets a patronizing professor and his daughter Katya (Anastasiya Nemolyaeva), and to annoy the old man he claims to be having an affair with her. Karen Shakhnazarov, working in the summer of 1986, follows a cheeky kid who has no idea yet what he wants to be.
