Coyote Lake

“Drugs float... bodies sink”

Ester (Camila Mendes) wants out from under her mother, but she is stuck at a small bed-and-breakfast near the U.S.-Mexico border, helping Teresa (Adriana Barraza) run a place that rarely sees anyone. Then two guests arrive that neither woman wants, and Sara Seligman, in her feature debut, keeps the whole film inside the house. The story grew from a real unsolved disappearance on the Falcon International Reservoir in 2010.
