“Every picture tells a story.”

Paul (Jeremy Davies) is a young film editor in 1960s Paris, shooting a diary-style art film of his own at night while his relationship with Marlène (Élodie Bouchez) comes apart. By day he gets pulled into rescuing a sci-fi picture starring Dragonfly (Angela Lindvall), whose face he cannot stop looking at. Roman Coppola, in his first feature as director, dresses the whole thing in the mod colors of the period.
