“There are a thousand ways to raise your adrenaline. Today, Chev Chelios will need every single one.”

Chev Chelios (Jason Statham), a contract killer in Los Angeles, wakes to find he's been poisoned with a synthetic drug that will kill him the moment his adrenaline drops. He tears through the city in a blur of violence and desperation, calling his girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart) and his handler Doc Miles (Dwight Yoakam) for leads. By the end, Chev is falling from a building, conscious and still burning, the ground rushing up to meet him.
