“He was dead... but he got better.”

Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) wakes after a fall that should have killed him, and his heart is gone. A battery-powered ticker sits in his chest, running only when he feeds it electricity, so he hunts the Chinese mobster who took the original. Neveldine and Taylor cut it all at a sprint, with Eve (Amy Smart) caught up in it, and the idea underneath is plain: a man stays alive only for as long as he keeps moving.
