“Someone is watching ...”

Karl Gunther (Klaus Kinski) is the landlord of an apartment house that rents only to young women, and he is the son of a Nazi surgeon. Behind the walls he has built secret passageways and hidden rooms, along with devices meant for torture and killing. David Schmoeller sets the story among Lori (Talia Balsam) and the other tenants, who sleep above rooms they have no idea exist, and each night in that house costs one of them more.
