Shinnosuke Nohara (Yumiko Kobayashi) and his family stumble upon a small dinosaur and welcome it into their home alongside their dog Shiro (Mari Mashiba). The unlikely friendship between the two animals sets off a chain of adventures that draws Shinnosuke and his friends deeper into mystery and wonder. In the end, it's the simplest bonds between creatures that teach us who we become.
