Creed

“Your legacy is more than a name.”

Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) is an amateur boxer who never knew his father, the heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. He tracks down Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), his father's old rival and later his friend, and asks him to be his trainer. Ryan Coogler puts a young man in a gym with an old one, and Adonis wants more than a name to fight under.
