Creepshow

(1982)Directed by George A. Romero120 min · RHorror, Comedy
“The most fun you'll ever have BEING SCARED!”

A crate turns up under a university staircase, and nobody can say how long it has been there or what is locked inside. Henry Northrup (Hal Holbrook) and his wife Wilma (Adrienne Barbeau) are one of five pairs in a Stephen King anthology, with Romero shaping each tale like a page from a 1950s comic. Henry and Wilma spend the story needing each other far less than they pretend.
