Cremaster 3

Hidden forces are at work inside the Chrysler Building as it goes up in New York City, and the building itself seems to be one of the parties in the fight. The Architect, Hiram Abiff (Richard Serra), builds against factions that want access to the process of spiritual transcendence. Matthew Barney sets his Entered Apprentice (Matthew Barney) against him, and the two men's rivalry runs through the tower floor by floor.
