“No one stays innocent forever”

Roseanne Skolnick (Monica Keena) is counting down to high school graduation, the day she can finally leave the house she shares with her mother Maggie (Ellen Barkin) and her stepfather Fred (Michael Ironside). Rob Schmidt sets her story in an ordinary suburb, loosely drawn from Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment. What holds the film together is the gap between Roseanne and Maggie, a mother and daughter sharing a house and a silence.
