Crime Wave

“Before your shocked eyes -- the city blasted SIN-SIDE OUT!”

Steve Lacey (Gene Nelson), a parolee trying to go straight, wakes to find a wounded former cellmate at his door asking for shelter. Soon the other two men from his old cell arrive, and Doc Penny (Ted de Corsia) wants Steve to drive on a bank job. Detective Lieutenant Sims (Sterling Hayden) treats every ex-con as a suspect, and André de Toth's film shows how little room a man gets to leave his record behind.
