Crisis

“Addiction is an industry.”

Claire Reimann (Evangeline Lilly), an architect in recovery from an OxyContin addiction, wants to know what her son was mixed up in before he died. Nicholas Jarecki braids her search with a Fentanyl smuggling run between Canada and the U.S. and with Dr. Tyrone Brower (Gary Oldman), a university professor whose research is paid for by a drug company. All three stories come down to one thing, who profits when a painkiller sells.
