Cruel Instruction

Sixteen-year-old Kayla Adams (Kelcey Mawema) just wants to go home, but after her expulsion, her mother Karen (Cynthia Bailey) takes the counselor's advice and sends her to a youth treatment center in Utah. Stanley M. Brooks puts her in a room with Amanda (Morgan Taylor Campbell), a veteran of these programs, under headmistress Miss Connie (Camryn Manheim). The film is about girls sent away for their own good and the adults who decide what that means.
