Cruising

“Al Pacino is Cruising for a killer.”

Steve Burns (Al Pacino) is a rookie cop in New York, picked by Captain Edelson (Paul Sorvino) to go undercover in the city's gay leather bars after a killer starts picking off patrons. William Friedkin sends him into those clubs with a fake name and a stranger's habits, while Nancy (Karen Allen) waits for him at home. The longer Steve stays in the role, the less sure anyone is of what the job is taking from him.
