Cry Danger

“Powell's on the Prowl!”

Los Angeles in 1951, and Rocky Mulloy (Dick Powell) steps out of prison after five years of a life sentence, the same one his friend Delong (Richard Erdman) is still serving for the same crime. Rocky wants to clear him, and Robert Parrish has him work through the city's cheap rooms and cold-eyed contacts. The case also leads him to Nancy Morgan (Rhonda Fleming), Delong's wife, and Rocky has to decide how close to get.
