Crying Out Love in the Center of the World

Sakutaro Matsumoto (Takao Osawa) is looking for his fiancée Ritsuko (Ko Shibasaki) when the search sends him back to the hometown he left behind. There he listens to the audio diaries recorded by Aki Hirose (Masami Nagasawa), his high school sweetheart, and the flashbacks begin. Isao Yukisada builds the film on those tapes, and Sakutaro's present life depends on how he faces what they contain.
