Russ (Jason Cottle), a history professor in Seattle, goes back to the Oregon coast to settle his late mother's estate. The town and the family he left behind are waiting, along with Jake (Rob Hamm), the best friend from childhood. Dan Gildark follows Russ into his father's New Age cult, where the cost of staying turns out to reach well beyond one family.
