Cube Zero

“There must be an exit!”

Wynn (Zachary Bennett) is a technician who monitors the Cube's rooms on a screen, watching strangers trigger traps and die, until a woman appears among them who clearly does not belong. He breaks his orders to help her, which sets him against his partner Dodd (David Huband). Ernie Barbarash, in his first film as director, sets this up as a prequel to the 1997 original, and the question running underneath is who decides which lives are worth the trouble of saving.
