Culloden
Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Olivier Espitalier-Noel) leads a Jacobite army into the Scottish Highlands on April 16th, 1746, to face government troops at Culloden. Peter Watkins shoots it for BBC television as a news report, with a reporter (Tony Cosgrove) pushing a microphone at soldiers and clansmen mid-fight. The film sets the men who gave the orders against the Highlanders and their families who paid for them.
