A television crew follows three idols, Yû Abiru, Mayuko Iwasa and Mari Iriki, to the home of the Kaneda family, who have been told a demon has settled in with them. An exorcist named Unsui says the thing is too strong for him alone and sends for a second exorcist, and a reckless ghost hunter turns up soon after. Koji Shiraishi shoots it as found footage, so the camera is always running, even when nobody should be looking.
