“A funny story about a family... And the little girl who started it.”

Bill Dancer (Jim Belushi) is a penniless drifter who needs just enough money to feed himself and Curly Sue (Alisan Porter), the orphan girl who works every scam beside him. Their latest mark is Grey Ellison (Kelly Lynch), a yuppie lawyer, and John Hughes sets the two of them loose in her well-kept world. Grey starts to like them, which Walker (John Getz), her jealous boyfriend, notices right away.
