“They just have to finish the movie… before it finishes them!”

In Australia, a group of film students returns to an unfinished slasher movie whose director was murdered years earlier. They plan to complete the shoot, with Molly Ringwald as Vanessa Turnbill and Kylie Minogue as Hilary Jacobs, the star of the picture. Kimble Rendall follows the crew as the production starts to resemble what happened to the first one, and Vanessa has to decide how far she will go to finish it.
