“Never forget who you are.”

Morgan Sullivan (Jeremy Northam), a bored accountant, takes a job as a corporate spy and starts attending conferences under a made-up name. Soon he is out of his depth, and Rita Foster (Lucy Liu), a woman he cannot place, offers to help him. Vincenzo Natali builds the story around a man whose identity is handed to him by his employer, and who has to decide how much of it belongs to him.
