(1985)Directed by Simon Wincer100 min · PGFamily, Science Fiction, Adventure
“He can fly a jet, race a car and outsmart a computer. The government created him and now they want him destroyed.”

Daryl (Barret Oliver) is a ten-year-old who wants only what other boys have: a family, a ball game, a place to belong. He is taken in by Andy (Michael McKean) and Joyce Richardson (Mary Beth Hurt), who can't see that the boy at their table was built by a government program. Simon Wincer keeps the camera at a child's height, so the ordinary world looks big and the pursuit that follows stays personal.
