D2: The Mighty Ducks

“The puck stops here!”

In 1994, the Junior Goodwill Games are coming, and Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez), whose own hockey comeback ended early, is named coach of Team USA. He gathers the Mighty Ducks again, adds a few new players, and finds the fame pulling his attention away from the bench. Sam Weisman directs it as a loud, bright family comedy, with the team on the ice against tournament favorites Iceland.
