Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir (Parineeti Chopra) sells shoes in Hyderabad and has stopped believing in love, worn down by suitors who arrive with a dowry in mind. Each is working a angle on the other, and the cost of being found out is the only chance either has at trusting someone.
