“Never forget where you came from.”

Girlie (Dakota Johnson) just wants to get home to Midtown from JFK, phone in hand and her attention somewhere else. Her driver Clark (Sean Penn) keeps talking, and the cab ride turns into a long conversation about the people who matter most in their lives. Christy Hall confines nearly the whole film to the two of them in the car, and the question is how much each will say before the meter stops.
