Daddy's Little Girls

“Family comes first”

Monty James (Idris Elba), a mechanic who barely makes his rent, is raising three young daughters when a court hands them to his ex-wife, and nobody can quite say why the ruling went her way. Tyler Perry sends him to Julia Rossmore (Gabrielle Union), an Ivy League attorney who has nothing in common with him, and she takes the case. As they work toward the hearing, the two keep colliding, over their different lives and over how much they care about the girls.
