Dalíland

“The journey into excess starts with a moustache.”

James (Christopher Briney) is a young gallery assistant in 1973, hired to help the aging Salvador Dalí (Ben Kingsley) get ready for a big show in New York. Mary Harron sends him behind the scenes, where he finds Dalí's wife Gala (Barbara Sukowa) running the household and the money while the parties go on around them. Fame, marriage and a famous name are all kept going by the people standing close to it.
