Damsel

“This is not a fairytale.”

Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown) agrees to marry Prince Henry (Nick Robinson), only to find herself handed over as payment for a royal family's ancient debt and dropped into a chasm with a fire-breathing dragon. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo sends her scrambling through the dark of the cave, with no one coming to help. Under the fantasy is a plain question of who gets to decide what a woman is worth.
