Dance Me Outside

“After the party's over, real life kicks into gear.”

Silas Crow (Ryan Rajendra Black) is writing a personal essay he needs to land a job, and the story he tells is about a girl from his reservation who was raped and murdered. Bruce McDonald, working from the W.P. Kinsella book, follows Silas and his friend Frank Fencepost (Adam Beach) as the community reels over a killer's two-year manslaughter sentence. Silas sits with his essay and the pen in his hand, trying to put what happened into words.
