Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan

“Outnumbered. Outgunned. Never out of courage.”

In August 1966, Delta Company heads into a rubber plantation near Long Tân, and nobody in the ranks knows how many enemy soldiers are waiting among the trees. Major Harry Smith (Travis Fimmel) leads barely a hundred young Australian and New Zealand soldiers, most of them recruits who have never seen combat. Kriv Stenders films the battle from inside the company's small, shrinking circle, close enough that you feel every rifle crack.
