Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind

“It started as a joyride; the terror never ended...”

Three aimless friends build a firebomb and plant it in a Hong Kong cinema, never noticing that a young girl named Pearl has watched them do it. She follows them and starts giving the orders, and the group moves on to bolder jobs. Tsui Hark, in his second feature, makes the rot of bored, unsupervised kids the real subject, and nothing around them stops it.
