Dangerous Lies

Katie (Camila Mendes) loses her waitressing job and takes work as a caretaker for a wealthy old man in his empty Chicago estate. They grow close, and when he dies and leaves her everything, she and her husband Adam (Jessie T. Usher) become a subject of interest for Detective Chesler (Sasha Alexander). Michael M. Scott builds the story on one plain idea: a sudden inheritance makes everyone around you look like a suspect.
