Danny Collins

“A letter from John Lennon changed his life”

Danny Collins (Al Pacino), an aging rock star still playing his old hits, learns that John Lennon wrote him a letter forty years ago that never reached him. It sends him off the tour and into a small hotel, where he tries to repair his life, with Mary Sinclair (Annette Bening) behind the front desk. Dan Fogelman, in his first film as director, leaves Pacino at the hotel piano, the old songs waiting under his hands.
