Danny Deckchair

“For anyone who ever dreamed of taking off.”

Danny Morgan (Rhys Ifans) is a laborer who wants someone to notice him, and he has a girlfriend, Trudy (Justine Clarke), who keeps putting her own plans first. When she cancels their romantic holiday, he ties hundreds of helium balloons to a deckchair and lifts off from his backyard. Jeff Balsmeyer follows him to Bellingen and Glenda Lake (Miranda Otto), and Danny is a man starting over under a different name.
