(1959)Directed by Robert Stevenson91 min · GAdventure, Family, Fantasy, Romance
“A touch O'Blarney... a heap O'Magic and A LOAD O'LAUGHTER!”

Darby O'Gill (Albert Sharpe) is a talkative old Irishman who has just lost his job as caretaker of an estate, and he is not telling anyone. His daughter Katie (Janet Munro) is of an age to marry, and the strapping young man who took Darby's post, Michael MacBride (Sean Connery), has caught her eye. Robert Stevenson sends Darby after King Brian (Jimmy O'Dea) and the little people, and Darby has only his tongue and his stories to trade against the king's magic.
