Dark Horse

Abe (Jordan Gelber), a man in his thirties, still lives with his parents and spends his days working for his father at a job he resents and hunting for toys to add to his collection. At a wedding he approaches Miranda (Selma Blair), back in her parents' house after her literary career fell apart, and asks her to marry him. Todd Solondz plays it all deadpan, keeping the camera still while Abe's family looks on.
