Dark Shadows

“Every family has its demons.”

Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) is a vampire who wakes from a long burial into the year 1972, still dressed and speaking like the eighteenth century. He walks back into Collinwood Manor to find the family estate in ruins and Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) holding its remaining relatives together. Tim Burton lets him stalk through a world of lava lamps and loud wallpaper, determined to restore a name nobody else seems to care about.
