Dark Waters

“The truth has a man on the inside.”

Robert Bilott (Mark Ruffalo) is a corporate defense attorney who gets drawn into a case when a farmer, Wilbur Tennant (Bill Camp), arrives with a story about his cattle dying. Todd Haynes follows Bilott as he digs into one of the world's largest chemical companies, while his wife Sarah (Anne Hathaway) watches the work follow him home. The paperwork piles up under flat office lights, and the farm sits quiet and gray beyond the fence.
