Darkman

“They destroyed everything he had, everything he was. Now, crime has a new enemy and justice has a new face.”

Dr. Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) is close to finishing a synthetic skin that could heal burn victims, and he wants a quiet life with his girlfriend, the attorney Julie Hastings (Frances McDormand). Then gangsters wreck his laboratory and leave him burned past recognition. Sam Raimi follows Peyton as he rebuilds his work in the dark and wears borrowed faces to get back to Julie, who believes he is dead.
